| Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre | It was a lovely two days. The children really enjoyed being in the forest area and the leaders were great at adapting to our needs. The leaders were very hands on with the children. This time, we stayed in the pods. I think that these would be better suited for older children (UKS2 and beyond) as when they needed the toilet at night they had to get dressed, reorientate themselves, and walk through the rain. They coped, but it meant that Mrs Thomas got very little sleep. We also found it hard to support and monitor the children getting up from our pod (they were very well insulated though!). Given age of the children, I would recommend booking the residential centre next time. | 01 October 2024 | |
