| Go Ape Thetford Continuous Belay Course | Go Ape at Thetford Forest were super helpful and very accommodating to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure our group was looked after and tried to be as flexible as possible when it came to moving groups and sessions around. | SafetyWorks! | Safety Works set up is practical, accessible and informative. It gives lots of real-life experiences in real-life settings. The staff were all extremely knowledgeable and supportive and are to be commended and I know they would take pride in this level of knowledge. The only hesitation about going again with this group is that these children need less language and more practical experience. I was given the impression from teachers who had previously taken this group that this was the case. But, even though the information was thorough it was perhaps more suited to visitors who are able to process language at a reasonable rate. Safety Works might consider two types of delivery. One, for visitors from mainstream with these wonderful full and thorough informative sessions. And one, with less language, simplified delivery, shorter sessions and more movement around the areas. The children had lots of opportunities to develop skills across the EYFS Curriculum, especially within prime areas such a communication and Language, Physical development, and personal, social and emotional development. The Valley of Lights and meeting Santa was great, and all children got to individually speak to him. As we visited after a storm, we were unable to go into the forest for a walk due to risks of fallen trees so as an alternative we were able to go onto the field to build snowmen to build team skills.
