Kaddi | Watatunga Wildlife Reserve

Watatunga is a stunning reserve based in West Norfolk, covering over 170 acres of woodland, grassland, wetland and lakes. This diverse habitat makes it an ideal environment for all of our animals to thrive, which includes over twenty types of deer and antelope and rare bird species. Aiming so that our animals to live as natural lives as possible, they have the space and freedom to roam at their will.

At Watatunga, we offer an exceptional educational experience designed to inspire and engage young minds. We can accommodate up to 60 children per day, splitting them into two groups for alternating sessions. Each group enjoys a captivating 1.5-hour tour of our breathtaking reserve, followed by an enriching 1.5-hour educational session. These sessions can include an interactive presentation with a Q&A segment, hands-on interaction with animal pelts and antlers in our stretch tent, a “mini wild things” session tailored for children aged 7 and under, and/or creative activities like colouring and making bird fat ball feeders.

Our presentations can be unique tailored to each audience to align perfectly with your curriculum needs, covering topics such as ecology (bugs and beasties), evolution, habitats, and adaptations. We are committed to working closely with schools to craft the ideal agenda for your visit.

Pricing Structure:

Pre-school: £7-£9 (less than 30 higher rate)
Primary: £10-£12 (less than 30 higher rate)
Secondary: £14-£16 depending on group size (less than 30 higher rate)
Higher Education: £17-£19 depending on group size (less than 30 higher rate)
Additional Guest/Staff Rate: £17 (price of a trailer tour)
