Set in 44-acres of ancient woodland, the grounds of Ufton Court include a Viking long ship, Celtic settlement, medieval ponds and Tudor Manor House complete with secret priest holes, which support our emphasis on hands-on, creative and interactive learning.
On Ufton History school trips, children are immersed in the past. Whether exploring the Grade 1 Tudor Manor House, learning about Boudicca in the Celtic Roundhouse or curing a cursed field as a Saxon, all our activities use the unique resources at our disposal to inspire and engage your group. Each historical programme follows its own story line – perhaps your children will become part of the Saxon Reading as settlers or a Tudor Petty Constable investigating strange goings on at the allegedly Catholic Manor.
As well as high-quality historical education, schools can also book our Ufton Outdoors day visit and residential trip programmes including Bushcraft Adventures and Outdoor Challenge. Ufton Outdoors programmes have been designed to help children build skills such as team-building, leadership and confidence, develop their knowledge of and care for the natural world and the environment, whilst experiencing the benefits of being outdoors on their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
At Ufton, children are free to try new things, be themselves and express how they feel, helping them grow up more confident, curious and capable.

I would also recommend for Forest School and residentials, based on what we saw other schools doing.
