As our programme is bespoke and tailored to suit your groups aims and objectives, and with our business being of a seasonal nature our pricing structure changes throughout the year.
We can offer discounts and special offers for larger groups.
As a minimum we offer one free staff place to every 15 students.
Please contact us with your preferred dates and what you would like to be included in your programme. We can then send you a proposal including pricing information in return.
We offer bespoke adventurous outdoor programs & fully catered residential accommodation for up to x140 people. Additionally, we also offer fully catered accommodation for field studies visits and private group accommodation.

Our school outdoor programmes include adventurous elements to get the best out of your trip away, whilst also providing a suitable level of challenge for your students. Our Centre is based in an ideal location with views of Portland Harbour and the surrounding Jurassic Coast. The famous SSSI site of Chesil beach is a 10 minute walk from our front door and the whole island is accessible by walking along the famous South West Coast Path.

Yes. We are fully insured to run all our activities and have £10 million public liability cover
Activities will still go ahead however we will carefully select the venue and pick the safest and most appropriate activity for the conditions on the day.
All activity staff are experienced, undergo thorough training are first aid qualified. Where appropriate they have national governing body award qualifications for the activities which they deliver. All staff at Portland are DBS checked. We have a strong team of permanent staff, who are supported by experienced seasonal staff, and long standing freelancers many of whom return for multiple years.
We know how much energy gets burned up by combining outdoor activities with staying residentially in an outdoor centre, so we ensure that everyone is well-fed.
We regularly cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, which we need to know in advance. Please ensure that your group organiser has been given all the details.

We had a great time, and the children got to experience activities that they do not usually have a chance to do in the water. They were able to work as part of a team and, for some, experience a night away for the first time.

This was the best outdoor centre we have been to; the instructors were amazing with the children and a great few days was had by all.
