Working for wild birds of prey and their habitats

The Hawk and Owl Trust is a national charity which works for the conservation of wild birds of prey. The Trust works through creative conservation -including the management of 3 nature reserves, practical research and imaginative education. Sculthorpe Moor Community Nature Reserve is the Hawk and Owl Trust's reserve in Norfolk near the market town of Fakenham. The Trust manages important fen and reed bed habitat for nesting marsh harriers at Sculthorpe as well as woodland, pond and grassland habitats. The education programmes at Sculthorpe are curriculum linked and cover a wide range of environmental education. Please note that there are no captive birds on the site.
