Excellent outdoor learning opportunity - would have preferred more hands on experiences and less talk. (June 2021 - Primary School)

Lots to do and see. New car parking area, toilet facilities and cafe area are fantastic. Would be good to have some more clear maps around the forest area to ensure groups can keep track of routes and distance from the centre etc. (October 2020 - Primary School)

(June 2020)

Great knowledge and support from park rangers (December 2019 - Secondary School)

Children could use a map to find clues. We were told on arrival there was only the big Gruffalo statue and that the owl, fox and mouse were not out. The children had a great time exploring the forest. (December 2019 - Primary School)

Very accommodating to a large group of small children (November 2019 - Primary School)

A well organised day. We would recommend this trip if you are working on the Gruffalo story and taking part in forest school activites. (November 2019 - Primary School)

Delamere is a great venue, there is lots for the young people to see and do (July 2018 - Secondary School)

This was a great trip. The Ranger had excellent interaction with the children and the activities were fun and informative. The Gruffalo trail was just right for my Year 3 class, however the arrows on route negated the need for the map. All staff were positive, welcoming and very helpful. (May 2018 - Primary School)

Excellent for the navigation tasks involved (March 2018 - Secondary School)
