Wilderness Expertise

A deliberately small, tailored, high quality provider with a focus on personal development who have been working in the field of education since 1994. Wilderness Expertise provides a range of personal development programmes to schools (years 4- 13), all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award in the UK and overseas and a wide variety of other overseas opportunities. Our overseas programmes range from 8 to 28 days and typically include some form of physical challenge, a phase of voluntary work and an opportunity to explore the host country. We also offer community based voluntary work programmes through Inspire Worldwide, including a bespoke programme just for female participants. We place significant emphasis on the value of learning outside the classroom and the positive benefits that the great outdoors can bring. This includes improving student's resilience and ability to cope under stress.
