Great trip for Year 4. Children really enjoyed it. We have stopped going to the afternoon session as the children were less interested in it, we preferred the more hands on sessions they used to do.

Excellent day had by all. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, helped whenever needed and guided us effectively throughout the day. Lovely with children, staff and parents. Lovely comments made about parents who joined the trip. Facilities were excellent and when a medical incident occurred, staff were very helpful and calmed the situation, enabling us to do what we needed to do and follow school protocol. 10/10 for all staff and facilities! To note, a couple of comments were made by group leader from Speke Hall about what amounts of money were a lot/not a lot for most children and how often children will wash and similar comments when comparing life today to life during Tudor time. For many of the children, they live in a hugely disadvantaged community and such comments cannot therefore be generalised and made. Many struggle daily for money (£100 a week would be a lot for some despite what staff said) and no, will not wash daily - just something to be mindful of when making general statements :)

We were made to feel very welcome. The tour guides tailored our tours to suit the needs of our pupils and gave us an insight into life in the past.
