Good variety of animals and information about adaptations, threats, and careers related to Geography. Requires more water refill stations throughout the zoo.

Great for careers options in upper KS and post 16

Children enjoyed the school trip and there was a variety of activites. The educational talk with the zoo employee at the beginning of the trip allowed children to show their learning from geography/science lessons.

A very well maintained zoo with lots of different species and information about them. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The children had a great time but the Zoo mixed up our times for the led sessions and therefore we wasted time. They did apologise as they had not sent an email to let us know the change in times but, as time is limited on the day, it reduced how much time we then had to visit the animals.

The trip was linked to our Science topic, Living Things and Their Habitats, and gave the children a wonderful opportunity to observe animals in environments that reflect their natural habitats. As they explored the zoo, they made connections between animals and the regions they come from, supporting their Geography learning too.
