The Tower were good at communicating with us on the day with regards to closure of the tower during the King's birthday salute - advance notice of this would have been useful. You can't book until about 3 months ahead - when I came to book the education team for A Level sessions was not available on the day picked (but all other parts of my visit were booked by this point so we had to go ahead anyway).

The Year 2 visit to the Tower of London was highly informative and engaging, sparking the children’s curiosity about history. The children were enthusiastic and the trip aligned well with curriculum goals.

Avoid taking large groups around the inside of the tower, better to split larger groups into no more than 10 when inside places such as the Crown Jewels or White Tower.

A fantastic venue with multiple oppurtunites for the children to find out more about 'The Tower of London'.
