We are open to residential and day visits 7 days a week, all year round. Our enquiry teams are available to speak to you over the phone or via email, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

Since 1946 Brathay has been inspiring young people to build their own brighter futures. We work with young people from across the UK, from their school years through to their early careers.
As the pioneers of outdoor education, a residential or day programme at Brathay is like no other. We inspire and empower young people to fully engage with their experiences, helping them to lead their own learning - because we know the most impactful lessons are the ones they create themselves.
We're lucky to be in the heart of the Lake District National Park, at the Brathay Hall estate. It offers excellent access to fells, lakes and plenty of space for on-site adventure!

Brathay staff specifically design some of their course/s to support those young people who are the hardest to reach young people, that present as vulnerable, those young people who being exploited, care experienced, those with offending behaviour and young people who struggle with self regulation.
