Magna is a science centre with unique learning opportunities. Set in the former Templeborough steelworks, pupils can explore and discover science, technology, design and industrial history in an incredible, hands-on environment.
A typical day is organised around Discovery Time for your group to explore our four pavilions: Air, Earth, Fire and Water; our steel heritage: the Big Melt, Steelos Gallery and the Face of Steel; plus our outdoor facilities. We also offer Science workshops alongside the National Curriculum, targeted for each key stage.

We were at the venue for F1 in Schools UK Finals. Excellent venue for the event. Well organised. Looked amazing on arrival with race track, F1 car and pit display area.

Brilliantly helpful and cheery staff, made our day during the F1 in schools National Finals a day to remember for all involved.

Despite being a busy day for schools at the venue, the staff staggered lunches and outdoor play, meaning we rarely bumped into another school. The children had a great day and learnt plenty too.

Magna is a brilliant venue. It wasn't, for this trip, the actual place we were visiting, it was jus hosting a STEM event in it's hall.

The events space had a great event for careers but the whole facility would definitely support knowledge and learning across most curriculum areas.
