the hostel is very basic but the food is excellent, the showers and bathrooms are clean and the bedrooms are ample sized. It great for access to North Wales and the staff are super friendly

Great food and space to complete your write ups in the evening. Good isolated location to get lots of fieldwork done. No phone signal, perfect for not getting interruptions. Staff friendly, food excellent, great value for money. Good dialogue with the hostel beforehand about what we wanted.

Lovely building but very limited phone line and Wi-Fi - suitable for groups if a little off the beaten track ffor most activities. Helpful staff.

Accommodation basic but cost effective Food stunning building, a little tired, not much to do in the evenings unless you take your own stuff

Exactly met our requirements. Staff were excellent. They have improved the facilities regarding showers since our last visit.
