Our Global Action programmes are designed to support learning around global issues across the Humanities and Science, giving students a taste of classroom learning in real world contexts.
They also help develop soft skills like leadership, teamwork, empathy, and cross-cultural communication – all while discovering new things and making friends in amazing places.
Studying Biology? Learn from conservation experts working in the field.
Studying Geography? Learn from non-government organisations working in post-earthquake recovery, or communities living in jungle river ecosystems.
Studying RE/Theology? Learn from Buddhist, Hindu and Sikh teachers to understand theory in practice in the cultural heartland of these world religions.
Studying Politics or interested in human rights? Learn from experts working in UN agencies in Geneva.
Interested in charities and international development? The Global Action global learning programme is underpinned by international development expertise and NGO networks in all our destinations. We provide long-term support to experienced and dynamic local non-governmental organisations and charities - this means our students take part in activities that are part of on-going, long-term conservation programmes and poverty reduction strategies.
