Willersley Castle was built in 1792 by Sir Richard Arkwright, the famous entrepreneur & inventor, from the industrial revolution. The estate offers exceptional facilities within a 65 acre estate on the edge of the Peak District. The grounds consist of woodlands, fields and gardens inhabited by an abundance of wildlife; as well as the the River Derwent which flows along 2km of the estate. Willersley Castle provides a safe and secure environment for schools to enjoy outdoor pursuits.
