Adventure-fuelled school trips to Morzine in French Alps

Looking to take your adventure school trip to the next level?

We do (rather splendid) adventure trips to the Alpine town of Morzine in the summer and ski trips in the winter.

Summer activities include kayaking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, canyoning, mountain biking, via feratta, alpine trekking, high ropes, team building, woodland activities and local market visits.

In the winter we ski in Morzine/ Les Gets and Avoriaz ski areas.

When do you run trips

We can run trips at any time of the year. The peak time for summer trips is May to September and from December to April for winter trips. Activities available vary with the time of year so please have a chat with us about your programme.

What is the accommodation?

Most groups stay in one of the Centre de Vacances we work with. They specialise in groups of young people. They have small dormitories, fantastic views, great facilities and are in a great location. We also use other accommodations depending on the time of year and group. Generally, all bedding is included but you need to bring towels.

Prices & Quotes

The price depends on group size, dates, activity preferences and travel preferences. Please get in touch, and we can arrange a quote for your group. Prices may go up if the number fall below the minimum needed. Pupils added at a later date are subject to availability and price fluctuations.

What is included?

Generally, the following are included in all of our trips:

Included: Flights, coach or train travel from the UK, transfers to Morzine, food, transport while you are with us, accommodation and all activities.

For ski trips ski rental, lift passes, lessons and transport to the piste is included - see you proposal for specific details.

Not included: Travel to UK airport or train station, travel insurance, meals during travel & pupil spending money.

Learning Outcomes

The spectacular environment and adventure activities are a great opportunity to build character skills such as resilience, leadership, teamwork and creativity. Each pupil is different; each school is different, so let's have a chat about how we can help you get more out of a trip with us. We have created (and continue to improve) our Adventure Notebooks, in which each pupil gets to write down their thoughts and reflections during the week.

Our team & staffing

BeVenturesome staff will be with you all the way. We have a team of Adventure Reps that are with you the whole week, glueing everything together, making sure teachers and pupils are well prepared for the activities and bringing about the learning outcomes. Most of our team are British nationals who have moved to Morzine because they love Morzine & the mountain that much! We also work closely with local Guides (rafting, climbing, etc) who run those specific activities, along with our Adventure Reps, who are also there to help as well.

Financials

We agree to a deposit (normally 25%) to secure your booking, and the balance will be due 10 weeks before the trip departs. We do not charge VAT. We can only secure flights once we have your deposit. Booking with easyJet flights requires a 30% to 40% deposit.

Pupil Participation

To participate fully in all the activities, a healthy level of fitness is required. They will need to be able to swim 25m and be comfortable with having their head submerged and be able to walk up to 10km. If you choose mountain biking, they will need to be able to ride a bike. Activities such as canyoning, via feratta and mountain biking, are more advanced and we advise having a conversation with us about them before booking. Please have a conversation with us about any pupils who might not be able to participate fully before booking. We do what we reasonably can to accommodate all pupils.

Teachers Responsibilities

Teachers have pastoral responsibility for pupils. This includes bedtime and wake-up, administering any medical treatments, looking after pupils with illnesses etc. You will need to ensure that pupils have GHIC cards, visas, and travel insurance and supply us with all relevant medical info, allergies, consent, and passport information when requested. Teachers are required to remain in proximity with the groups during activities.
