The students enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the history and importance of Bletchley Park and the code breaking work they did to support the war effort during the second World War. The staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and used to working with young people.

Bletchley Park is a good trip for secondary students because it connects World War II History with the foundations of Modern Computing and Mathematics The Museum allows students to see the actual huts and machines where brilliant minds, including Alan Turing, cracked the German Enigma code, an achievement that shortened world war 2. Students also get an opportunity to look in to later developments in computing anf how the work at Bletchley park has influenced this. History - World War Two, D-Day, key figures, the intelligence war. Computer Science- Cryptography, algorithms, the history of computing, Boolean logic. Mathematics - Permutations, combinations, probability, logical reasoning, ciphers.
