It was a fantastic trip and really well linked to our learning about animals in science. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot about the animals.

Staff here are clearly not used to Primary aged children. We were told that our well behaved children were 'frightening' the animals'. Staff often felt the need to interfere and comment on situations involving SEND children that were being addressed by the teacher. Workshop was not as advertised however the zoo keeper who led the workshop was brilliant (very knowledgeable).I would not recommend this zoo to anyone unless the staff (not zookeepers) have a change in attitude.
