Staff here are clearly not used to Primary aged children. We were told that our well behaved children were 'frightening' the animals'. Staff often felt the need to interfere and comment on situations involving SEND children that were being addressed by the teacher. Workshop was not as advertised however the zoo keeper who led the workshop was brilliant (very knowledgeable).I would not recommend this zoo to anyone unless the staff (not zookeepers) have a change in attitude.

Staff were really helpful in targeting the visit to our needs e.g. Australian animals.

Great experiences for all of the children with a good balance of led and independent activities. Great facilities and lovely staff. Really enhanced our learning about animals.
