African Adventures is a unique travel company, partnered with 29 schools in developing areas of Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar, and organise life-changing trips for people who want to help bring our work to life.

We pride ourselves on our ethical, sustainable volunteering model that puts our partner schools at the heart of everything we do. They tell us what help they want, and we recruit groups from schools in the UK and beyond to make it happen.

Whether your students want to help teach in classrooms or help build a new one, we’ll match the skills of your group with the partner school we know will fit best, in the destination you choose, and build your experience around it.

Our unique school trips to Africa give your students the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and develop new skills, whilst contributing to real change in a developing community by giving children the chance of a better future through the power of education.

What’s more, from all your travel arrangements to the volunteer work you’ll carry out, everything is organised for you by our expert teams of staff in the UK and Africa.

At the same time, volunteers can experience cultural exchange and witness sustainable development in action. Our aim is to achieve a more sustainable future for all through our work by committing to drive 15 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. They recognise that ending poverty must go hand in hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
