Good experience to see a castle after learning about it in History - good to point out towers, turrets, portcullis. Enjoyed falconry show and trebuchet - information possibly went over children's head - pre teaching needed. Toilets were very busy and hard to manage with the amount of schools and members of the public. Workshop was good but would have preferred to have a choice of time slot. Our time slot was the last half an hour before leaving and we feel children would have been more engaged when arrived.

The venue was well organised and offered a range of activities for the children to participate in. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful - they were happy to move the time of the workshops to suit the needs of the learning and experience that we wanted to participate in. The venue offers support for children with SEN - sensory support available.
