The Hardelot Centre is a residential centre offering accommodation (for up to 36 children and 6 adults), activities and excursions to school groups on the stunning Opal Coast. The centre is based 50 minutes from Calais and is set in 8 acres of woodland.
The local staff provides home-made French cooking and the chance to try out your French conversation skills.
Hardelot is awarded with the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge. The LotC Quality Badge is a national benchmark that accredits providers of learning outside the classroom, offering good quality educational experiences and managing risk effectively.
The centre offers many fantastic and unique attractions right on its doorstep. Popular attractions include sea life centre Nausicaa, chocolate factory, snail farm, goat’s cheese farm, corn weaving, La Coupole (World War II museum) and theme parks such as Bagatelle.
