The whole day was lead by the Museum staff. They provided a good range of activities including, looking at artefacts, craft, drama and a trail. The pace was good and they covered a lot. It worked well as an introduction to our Roman topic but would have also worked as a conclusion. The venue is small and closed to the public during the mornings which worked well for managing behhaviour.
