English Heritage offer free entry to teacher-led visits - so this trip is very cost effective and an excellent opportunity for students to visualise what they have been learning about.

English Heritage went above and beyond opening up the site with us as the only school there.

This site is very weather dependent, it was a very wet day and we were not permitted to eat inside.

A really useful trip for both the exam specification at GCSE, but also in providing students with an enriching opportunity to visit historical sites.
