It would be great to have models/artefacts to handle and/or see the displays. eg a photo of the cable was shown but the real model was in a glass display case.

Great trip, very knowledgeable and engaging staff. Practical activities were very hands on and the children recalled a lot from their visit.

Half day visit worked well. Previously a whole day and we looked around the rest of the museum.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to learn more about WW1. The children were able to handle and try on real WW1 artefacts. The teaching session was very informative. The children enjoyed solving the secret code in the afternoon trail. The venue was well set out and the staff were really helpful.
