Hautbois Activity Centre is the perfect multi-purpose venue with expertise delivering residential visits and activity days. With over 25 years of experience, we deliver challenging, motivating activities for educational visitors of all ages in a safe and trusted environment. Students can take part in fun outdoor adventures and bespoke learning activities that will enable them to develop, grow and learn in an informal supportive way.
Great Hautbois House, a Victorian rectory, provides fully catered accommodation for up to 45 guests in 12 bedrooms over 2 floors, including a wheelchair accessible bedroom with en-suite wet room. The yurt village offers fully catered accommodation for up to 48 guests and includes a communal space as well. All our food is freshly prepared and cooked on-site with a range of menus to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements.
Our campsites can accommodate over 300 campers with a range of equipped and unequipped dry shelters and greenfield sites.
There are over 26 onsite activities located around the beautiful 28 acre site, ranging from climbing and abseiling to our environmental studies area. Full advantage is taken of our private direct access to the river Bure to provide kayaking, canoeing, raft and bridge building. Everyone is encouraged to take part and play a role in every activity and are respected for the part they play and is given the opportunity to succeed to their own ability.
