Burwell House has been providing a high quality residential venue for learning outside the classroom for over 60 years, with accommodation for around 60 children and additional space for accompanying adults. Based in an Georgian house in its own 6 acre site in the middle of a rural village, there are plenty of learning opportunities both within the site and surrounding areas. Our new Low Ropes course provides a chance to develop team work, alongside a host of geography, biology, craft and unusually for an outdoor education centre a fully working TV studio. Our popular TV sessions give the chance for schools to make there own programmes, developing a host of skills including English, Computer Literacy all tied into any number of curriculum topics schools are working on.
