Great, art lead workshop that my class were entirely engaged by. Support by the SCVA educational officer was superb and the facilities for the visit were excellent.

The Sainsbury Centre were able to help to cater artist workshops to specific learning objectives in the curriculum which was really helpful.

Our visit to the Sainsbury Centre was an overwhelmingly positive and enriching experience. The trip offered an excellent blend of cultural learning, creativity, and hands-on engagement, making it both enjoyable and educational for everyone involved. The exhibitions were thoughtfully curated, allowing students to explore a wide variety of artworks and artefacts from different cultures and time periods. Staff at the Sainsbury Centre were welcoming, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, helping to create an atmosphere that encouraged curiosity and meaningful discussion. Students particularly benefited from the interactive activities, which supported deeper understanding and made the experience memorable. The trip also encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and confidence as students asked questions, shared observations, and reflected on what they had learned. Overall, the Sainsbury Centre trip was a great success. It provided a valuable opportunity to broaden cultural awareness, inspire creativity, and strengthen engagement outside the classroom. We look forward to returning in the future.
