This is a well organised orienteering activity, well-pitched for the age group (ks2). The leaders are professional, friendly and polite. All the resources are planned and made ready ahead of time. The environment is ideal - with enough space for each group to feel a sense of exploration and adventure, as they locate the next place on the map.

I'm thinking of the whole of Hampstead Heath, though I think Heath Hands are a useful contact in multiple respects: flora/fauna conservation; flora/fauna preservation; history of the park & Kenwood House; the importance to the community of this space; the landscaping, upkeep and geology of the park; use of the park's facilities, such as the athletics track and playing fields.
