The staff met us in the coach park and directed us to the visitor centre, which was comfortable, warm and close to the toilet (great for 4 & 5 years olds!) We returned here for our lunch, being able to leave our packed lunches and extra bags in the room was a great convenience. The activities we engaged in were age appropriate and gave a good mix of physical action and linking our science topic of amazing animals. The children had oppertunity to use the natural environment to search for resources to make interpretations of butterflies and search for mini beasts. The children were engaged and busy throughout the visit. I would recommend this to other EYFS children.
