Yes. Once your tour is confirmed, you’ll be assigned a dedicated Tour Planner who will be your main point of contact throughout the planning and operational stages of your trip. They will get to know your school, your group and your itinerary, so you won’t be passed around a call centre or have to repeatedly explain your requirements to different people.

Your Tour Planner will work closely with you right through to departure, supported by our wider operations team behind the scenes.

We organise educational tours across the UK, Europe and further afield. These include curriculum-based educational tours, city trips, language tours, ski trips, sports tours, performing arts trips and bespoke tours designed around a particular subject or interest.

Yes. We can provide relevant travel and supplier information to assist schools with their own educational visit planning, approval and risk-management procedures.

Every tour is individually priced according to factors such as destination, travel dates, group size, departure point and itinerary. We aim to provide excellent value and are also happy to provide a comparative quotation if your school already has a proposal from another provider.

Yes. Our online parent payment portal can be used to help schools manage trip payments, reducing the administrative burden on teachers and school staff.

Groups travelling with The School Tour Company are provided with emergency assistance while on tour, so support is available should an urgent issue arise outside normal office hours.

We work with schools and our suppliers to accommodate individual requirements wherever possible. Please tell us about any dietary, accessibility, medical or additional needs as early as possible so these can be considered when planning the tour.

We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, particularly for peak travel periods or trips requiring flights, theatre tickets or popular attractions. However, we are also happy to explore options for schools working to shorter timescales.

Yes. Our standard allowance is 1 free teacher place for every 10 paying students. This helps schools maintain suitable staffing and supervision ratios while keeping the overall tour cost as competitive as possible.
