School visits are welcome Monday - Friday during Buckinghamshire school term times
Each of our workshops last 90 minutes. You can join us for a morning session and leave before lunch, or mix and match two workshops and stay for a whole day. We have a wonderful light and airy lunchroom space for your class FREE, if you book for the whole day.
Book one workshop– £7.50 per child, minimum charge of £150.
Book two workshops – £11.50 per child, minimum charge of £230.

Discover Bucks Museum, in the historic heart of Aylesbury, is a family friendly museum telling the story of the people and landscapes of Buckinghamshire, from 200 million years ago to today. In our main galleries we showcase the best of Bucks heritage: archaeology, social history, natural history, geology, art, costumes and photographs. We also house the famous Lenborough Hoard, one of the largest hoards of Anglo-Saxon silver coins ever found.
Alongside the Museum, our site is home to the enchanting Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, a vibrant space where imagination takes flight! Designed to inspire young minds, the gallery offers a hands-on, interactive journey into the beloved stories and ideas of Roald Dahl. It’s a place where learning meets adventure, inviting visitors of all ages to explore, discover, and create in a world brimming with wonder.
School Workshops
Explore our broad range of half-day (90 mins) workshops including interactive sessions in our new museum galleries and exploratory adventures in the magical Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery.
We offer a memorable day out for your group, whether your purpose is to inspire learning at the start of a topic, or to build on knowledge previously learned in class.
Pair two sessions to create a whole day experience and make use of our lunchroom (must be requested at time of booking.)
