It was a great workshop. Fantastic, hands-on experience for the children to explore old toys to enhance their history learning this half term. Many opportunities for the children to ask questions about the past. Children were enthusiastic and could make connections in learning.

The session was amazing. THe children loved the workshop and learnt so much.

Beamish workers in the 1940s farm were unaware of our booking for the WWII evacuee workshop when we arrived. This meant that the workshop started 30 mins late. Beamish were were apologetic about this lack of communication between bookings and the workshop team. If repeat trip is booked, lead teacher to call ahead to reconfirm booking and remind museum of today's inconvenience.
