Safeside is our experiential learning centre and interactive safety village for children, young people and adults. We have recently updated our educational programmes, which now provide key safety messages in an interactive and engaging way for learners of all ages.
We have a number of different scenarios in the village including a shop, a train, a bus, a canal and open waterside area, a house, a road and more! Furthermore, we teach children about the dangers they can come across in real life situations and how to make the better choice. Our current package delivered at Safeside is called 'Smart Choices'.

The village can hold up to 120 children at any one time on certain days.
On certain days we can hold up to 3/4 schools in a day, this is managed by our excellent Safeside teams who will work to ensure schools do not mix and remain with their class teachers. If you require to be the only school on the day we do also have quieter sessions which can be booked.
We allocate Mondays and Fridays to SEN children, young people and adults. We only book one group in per session and the visit is tailored to the needs of your group.
There is no charge for Teachers and Support Staff.
Yes, you can book but there is a higher charge for out of the area.
