Description
Sayers Croft Outdoor Learning Centre is a beautiful residential site at the foot of the Surrey Hills. We have 56 acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds and streams to explore, as well as a great range of adventure activities including wall climbing, caving and rope courses. Our six cosy dormitories, each with their own common room, make the ideal base for groups to plan and relax at either end of a busy day. Our team is dedicated to delivering tailored experiences to meet the needs of your group and create lasting memories.
We also offer Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award residentials, with a mix of adventure activities and conservation, plus camping facilities for DofE Bronze and Silver groups.

Trip successful. Intruder alarm sounded during the first night and reported this to site staff. No reason and alarm reset. Fire alarm sounded the same night and all girls/staff had to evacuate at 3.30am without shoes. Not easily accessible shoe rack at night. Next time shoes left by the bed each night just in case needed. Staff injury (SB)to eye on last night and added to the medical log. (March 2024 - Primary School)

The different sessions drew on lots of strands of the students' entertainment in a way that could not be accessed in the classroom. In particular, the use of grid references and maps in the context of finding things in a forest helped the children to use their geography learning in practice (December 2023 - Primary School)

Lovely setting, rural and away from it all! Staff knowledgeable about the environment and environmental issues. Just a shame that Westminster City Council have set new rules about booking, making it impossible for small schools (who visit every other year) to secure any booking slots.
