Staff were brilliant at engaging with the children. They were friendly and lead the activities really well. The site was beautiful and a great place to spend some time together.
Downsides: It felt poorly organised at times. The staff didn't have the activity timetable/plan. There were missing blinds in at least half of the bedrooms and despite being told this would be sorted, in the end we had to resort to trying to get spare bedding to cover the windows instead. Only one choice of food wasn't ideal, some offerings were not necessarily child friendly. (May 2022 - Primary School)

Not all children got to take part in some activities. The site wasn't overly prepared for wet weather e.g. no shelters at activities whilst children wait their turn. Some of the staff's manner with the children wasn't at times overly suitable - e.g. choice language. First aid of an injured child wasn't dealt with quickly and by the staff team - had to be prompted by our staff (September 2021 - Primary School)

Unfortunately the house is looking very tired and in desperate need of renovation. The grounds are very good. We had quite a few issues during our stay but I am pleased to say Lodge Hill have now discussed them in full with us and informed us of their future plans. (November 2018 - Primary School)

Lodge hill was fab, the staff were helpful but also left you too it so there was a nice balance. The food was lovely, activities were great and instructors knew what they were doing and were friendly. (May 2018 - Primary School)
