Morvargh Sailing Project is a youth development organisation that helps young people become more confident, resilient, motivated and better able to communicate, through volunteer-led, life-changing sail training voyages. Morvargh Sailing Project provides opportunities for young people aged 11+ by delivering Sail Training voyages on our yacht, Helen Mary R, Incorporated in 2010 as a Community Interest Company (CIC).
We deliver offshore sailing voyages to mixed crews from widely differing socio-economic backgrounds. Our voyages are unique, being both physically and mentally challenging; young people develop a range of skills that can transfer to their day-to-day lives to help them overcome any barriers and thrive.
90% of young people sailing with us learn something about themselves which will make a positive change in their life; some make profound life-changing discoveries that lead to tremendous positive change!
