Remember to always ask the children to bring their rucksacks. Monday was a good day to run the trip it was less crowded on site. Plastic water bottles should be removed from lunches prior to taking as they are not needed. Staff need appropriate footwear for mud as it can be muddy, long sleeves and leggings a good idea under Celtic tunics. (October 2022 - Primary School)

It was a good day with some interesting activities for the pupils to complete (October 2021 - Secondary School)

(January 2020)

The pupils really enjoyed the hands on opportunities to support their learning back in class. Since the trip, they have been able to make reference to the activities we took part in with lessons. The staff were very knowledgeable, and worked incredibly well with the pupils to make the day fun and enjoyable, keeping the focus on learning, despite the cold weather and the rain towards the end of the day. I will be aiming to use Celtic Harmony camp in the future and would recommend it to support the teaching of Stone Age to Bronze Age. (December 2019 - Primary School)

An excellent visit! The setting and activities really brought the topic to life for the children. (October 2019 - Primary School)

Brilliant day that the children all really enjoyed and learnt a lot from. Would definitely take them again and at the same time (beginning of topic) as the focus was on the Stone Age and was mostly on the Paleolithic period rather than the later Stone Age periods and the Bronze/Iron Ages. Will change the focus next time to be purely on the Stone Age and not include Bronze/Iron Ages. (September 2019 - Primary School)

Excellent educational activities in a safe, rural space. (July 2019 - Primary School)

Our day at Celtic Harmony Camp really brought our Stone Age topic to life. I'd highly recommend it at a topic opener as it covers friction fires, den building, hunting and gathering, tools and trading. It was hands on and great fun! (October 2018 - Primary School)
