Winmarleigh Hall is a great location for schools in the north west of England, offering a rural retreat in 50 acres of gardens and woodland near the Forest of Bowland.
Enjoy the many original features of this Victorian country house, combined with its modern facilities. There's an on-site lake for watersports and a floodlit activity area, plus plenty of classroom space as well as activities from abseiling to zipwire!

The centre is clean and well presented with comfortable bedrooms/dorms and a large airy canteen. There is a range of different activities to suit, however it is not particularly accessible for wheelchair users or learners with any sensory needs.
The staff are great, well qualified and good with the learners.
The lost star is due to the centre being more suited to KS2 (we were with KS4) and the lack of accessibility. (April 2024 - Secondary School)

Winmarleigh Hall catered for all our children and staff needs, All the staff right from our PGL buddy right through to the catering staff were absolutely brilliant with us. They worked well to meet dietary needs of pupils including a severe nut allergy. Only issue was our rooms were next to the drying room which meant we had students from another group on our corridor after lights out.
