Kingswood Trust is an award winning charity, holding the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, The Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge and are Dementia Friendly.
We guarantee your experience will be a breath of fresh air, creating lasting memories and ensuring enrichment and achievement for everyone.
Our outdoor education programmes promote health and well-being as well as nurture a sense of curiosity and fascination in the natural world.
Our charity, The Kingswood Trust, is a place where history comes alive with old buildings, air-raid shelters, historical features and artefacts.
Outdoor learning takes place in our woodland and natural habitats, pond areas, bird hide, climbing trees, adventure ropes, forest school base camps and gardening areas. Opportunities to meet our sheep, ducks and chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and tortoises are a favourite with all our visitors. Our team building programme offers essential skills activities for personal growth.
We run a variety of programmes for school and community groups including residential stays, day visits and forest school programmes.
We are known for our exceptional events and activities all year around and these are for the general public and are accessible to people of all ages, including older adults.

Kingswood Trust offers wonderful experiences for younger children. Being outside for all the activities encourages then to learn in a different way. It definitely encouraged teamwork and a sense of community. for some it is the first experience being away from home and the environment helps them to deal with this in a safe and secure way. Kingswood provided 5 activities all of which were aimed well and tailored to their age range. The children had lots of opportunities to develop skills across the EYFS Curriculum, especially within prime areas such a communication and Language, Physical development, and personal, social and emotional development. The group had a fantastic afternoon exploring the forest, making mud, challenging themselves on the climbing structure and the zip wire. They enjoyed the hot chocolate drink.
