YHA Haworth

Description

Literature fans rejoice – this Victorian Gothic mansion is the ultimate base for exploring the Bronte village and has stunningly beautiful décor. YHA Haworth will stick in the memory of groups and school trips, offering all the facilities they need to enjoy the area’s attractions. With a cosy lounge, separate meeting rooms for study, and extensive grounds, it’s a place to feed the imagination.

YHA Haworth offers plenty of atmospheric spaces for groups to socialise and a games room too. Wind down with a bottle of ale from our licensed bar, or fill up on breakfast, packed lunch and dinner with our group catering options. Our opulent interiors are an attraction in themselves.

As well as the cobbled streets of Haworth village and the Bronte museum, the Keighley and Worth Valley steam train will delight history buffs. There’s also Cliffe Castle Museum, East Riddlesden Hall and the National Media Museum within reach. If your group needs a break from culture, there are plenty of local providers for adventurous rock climbing, cycling and watersports activities.

Clean, spacious, well looked after, ample space for TV, games, video games, pool table, garden, not really any places in the town to run off to. Safe. Food was fine. (January 2024 - Secondary School)

Once again we had a great stay at Haworth. This year we had some children in attendance with sever food allergies, the hostel were very helpful prior to our visit with regards to foods that should be avoided. Whilst we were there they were also at advising us as to what could or could not be consumed by those individuals. (February 2019 - Primary School)

Beautiful building - nice and warm in the autumn weather. Good food, flexible timings. Good facilities, but could do with tea making facilities in the lounge rather than having to pay for one at Reception. Some rooms more up-to-date (eg with charge points at each bed) than others. (September 2018 - Secondary School)

(March 2018 - Primary School)
