Friendly staff. Tutored activities led successfully. Hostel was clean and well-equipped. Meals were good. However, on several occasions, we could not locate members of staff when we needed them, which was frustrating and meant the children were kept waiting to begin activities etc. YHA staff should also have insisted the children wear wellies for the first day's activities due to the wet/snowy weather. If the teaching staff had known we were going be taking part in activities on muddy ground, we would have insisted ourselves. There were not enough biscuits for the children's and teaching staff's packed lunches (70 not 93) No staff available to query this. (March 2018 - Primary School)

Good range of activities and some quality instructors. Poor management/ organisation skills of those running the youth hostel. (March 2018 - Primary School)
