We attended Winter Wonderland as part of a charity event. It was therefore only at about 15% capacity. We were treated very well by the staff, who could not have been more accommodating. There would be opportunities for the students to examine how different rides operate. We utilised the day to improve their communication, teamwork and resilience skills. The circus and ice skating offer opportunities to enhance the students' cultural capital. The toilets were clean and regularly monitored. We did not have any physically disabled students with us and so I cannot speak from experience, but I believe from what I saw that many of the rides would have been inaccessible to a wheelchair user. On a standard peak day it would have been much busier, the queue times would have been significantly longer and it would have been noisier, which some of my studnets would have struggled to cope with. Very good experience for staff and students, rides and attractions were all running and exciting. Visited on Wednesday evening a week before christmas. Venue was not too busy with venue staff polite and easy to find throughout location. Information prior to visit was clear however I would prefer more communication methods to be provided throughout the venue in the case of emergencies, however alternative methods can be put into place by visitors.
