A good venue and well organised. There was not enough security to stop students leaving site though. (July 2024 - Secondary School)

(March 2023 - Secondary School)

(April 2022 - Secondary School)

(March 2020 - Secondary School)

(February 2020 - Secondary School)

(November 2019 - Secondary School)

exceptionally well run (July 2019 - Secondary School)

The event is extremely beneficial for the debating skills of the Lower 6th students and the level of competition is high and challenging. The nature of the event provides multiple opportunities for debate. The organisation of the day itself did not show the event in its finest. This was partly due to the inclement weather the week before, which saw one half of the competition delayed. There were then too many teams present in on this day, which meant some of our students had their pre-prepared debates cancelled, or awarded to other schools. This was extremely disappointing for our students who had prepared their ideas in advance. The day itself was not well executed, with lunch delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes. (March 2018 - Secondary School)
