The young people were able to work with an adult to catch fish, weight them and eat their lunch in a cafe. (September 2024 - Secondary School)

The fishermen discussed what they were doing and about the types of bait they were using, the different types of fish they were catching and they learnt about maggots turning into flies. They worked alongside an allocated Angler to cast off, catch, reel in and net a fish then had a short discussion on the fish and showing them the different features before releasing them again. Masonic Fishing Charity were great. Taught the students how to fly fish and coarse fish across the day. Great food and very well organised. (June 2023 - Primary School & Secondary School)
