Great 1-night residential. First day focussing on Greeks, Second day shelter building/wall climbing and archery. Children had a fabulous time. Great staff and a big shout out to the kitchen staff who were very accommodating. (May 2024 - Primary School)

The centre is getting quite old in parts and hard to manage children with big rooms. Activities are quite long and we had a lot of ticks and not much education or support around ticks. (July 2023 - Primary School)

An excellent residential (May 2023 - Primary School)
The range of activities at Oxenwood is impressive for a small venue. The pupils had an opportunity to try archery, wall-climbing, problem solving challenges and fire-making. The rural setting prompts discussions about wildlife whilst giving the pupils a chance to play in an open, green enviroment. (April 2023 - Primary School)

They were a fantastic religious retreat for the children to have a chance to reflect in different ways (May 2022 - Primary School)
A broad range of activities enabled the pupils to develop their problem-solving skills as well as their communication skills as they endeavoured to work together. (May 2022 - Primary School)
Excellent venue - everything we needed provided (October 2021 - Primary School)
Great location for DofE expeditions (October 2018 - Secondary School)
A fantastic experience for year 2 children. Great activities led by the staff at Oxenwood and a superb location and environment - the size is great for the children, and the fact that we have the building to ourselves. Everyone has a great deal of fun and many children overcome fears and achieve challenges - not least of which is a night away from their parents. Long may it continue! (August 2018 - Primary School)
(March 2018 - Primary School)
Continues to be a venue where children are able to develop as independent individuals. (February 2018 - Primary School)
