Broads Tours

Description

We offer educational boat trips to inspire children to love the Broads National Park.
As we cruise along the beautiful river Bure and its connected Broads the children are taught about the origins, history, heritage, wildlife, conservation and tourism of the Broads. They also have free time to soak up the natural environment.
Many schools choose to combine the boat trip with a guided walk around Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail with rangers from Natural England. The trail can only be accessed by boat and is a a very special experience for the children.
Our trips and lessons are tailored to the individual requirement and age group of each school.
We can cater for groups of 20-40 children on each trip and we can provide back-to-back morning and afternoon trips for larger groups.

(October 2024 - Primary School)

(July 2024 - Primary School)

Excellent. Broads Tours responded to my email which highlighted the nature of the groups we were bringing (large and lively), and responded by adapting their usual tour to suit us. Student focus and behaviour was excellent as a resuly, and they all learnt a lot. (July 2024 - Secondary School)

(May 2023)

(February 2023 - Secondary School)

It was an incredible trip, with very informative staff and a great deal to see and experience. There were hands on activities (seeing a hornet compared to a wasp) as well as other interesting things to see on the broads. (January 2023 - Primary School)

Informative and very friendly staff (July 2022 - Secondary School)

Presentations given by Broads Tours today were adequate but they had not checked WHA's requirements and the presentation given was not at the same level as the ones given in previous years. This was probably caused by the Covid break and the change in ownership of Broads Tours. (June 2022 - Secondary School)

(October 2021 - Primary School)

Very good communication and organisation on the day. It was safe, informative and the children all enjoyed themselves a lot. (September 2021 - Primary School)

(March 2020 - Secondary School)

Excellent (June 2019 - Secondary School)
