I would not recommend this venue for SEN students. It was quite scary, also, the characters were speaking so fast that it was quite hard for our students to understand consensus what we need to do and why we are there. (December 2023 - Secondary School)

This would be a fantastic visit for Drama classes as well. (March 2023)

This was useful memorable revision for the Case Studies covered in the Crime and Punishment through time topic such as the Gunpowder Plot and the Witch Craze among others, as well as the Whitechapel environment. (March 2023 - Secondary School)

An excellent, well thought out journey through key historical events and eras with super actors in character the whole time and surprise elements which all combined to give a thoroughly engaging experience for us all. (January 2020 - Secondary School)

(January 2020 - Secondary School)

The morning tour was extremely useful for Whitechapel revision as it was interactive, engaging and specific in detail with the environment of 1800s Whitechapel that students often struggle to remember. The afternoon was a fun and engaging activity that would help many areas of the Crime and Punishment course be memorable and help with the student's revision. Feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive and they commented on how knowledgeable and friendly the morning tour guides were as well as how much fun and memorable the afternoon trip to the dungeon was. (December 2019 - Secondary School)

This was a great activity for the students, they all got really involved and found it an engaging way to revise the Crime and Punishment topic. There was a slight delay in the second group starting but overall it was very professional and smoothly run. (December 2019 - Secondary School)

(December 2019 - Secondary School)

The students always enjoy the trip because it brings the texts and context alive. (November 2019 - Secondary School)

(September 2019 - Primary School)

An excellent activity which all students enjoyed. We had a little trouble with groupings - our second group of 25 students weren't allowed into the dungeons until an hour after us, in which time they were quizzed about their documents which the group leader had already shown in the first group. This caused problems with timings later down the line. Other than that though, it was a fantastic experience. (August 2019 - Secondary School)

The London Dungeons offer an immersive experience, which many students thoroughly enjoyed and some even considered the highlight of the trip. However, there are elements that make potentially unsuitable for school bookings. 1. Groups larger than 40 are split up. It would have been useful to know this in advance as well. 2. There is a boat ride in which only 8 people fit in the boat. 3. The content may scare some children, so you need to plan an alternative activity. (July 2019)

An entertaining (if scary) and informative visit. (July 2019 - Secondary School)

Was very educational and fun (July 2019 - Secondary School)

The group had to leave the venue due to a part of the exhibit involving a smoke machine which cause some breathing difficulties for one of the students. The risk was not signposted prior to entry that staff were able to notice. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience. (June 2019 - Secondary School)

Excellent experience perfect for Year 10 history students (May 2019 - Secondary School)

(April 2019 - Secondary School)

This was a great afternoon for the students consolidate contextual knowledge and better grasp the story of Crime and Punishment through time through the chronological telling of events and activities in a memorable way. (April 2019 - Secondary School)
