Paradise Wildlife Park is very accesible for younger children. It is big enough for them to see lots of animals and small enough for them to go around in plenty of time. Lots of shaded areas to eat and plenty of toilets. (June 2023 - Primary School)

(June 2023)

The talks was very educational and the children enjoyed learning about different facts about the animals. The talk was all about the animals and interactive but there were no animals present during the talk for the children to touch or see. (June 2023 - Primary School)

The writing aspect of the trip is useful for English with the competition at the end for additional motivation. It would be good to make stronger links between science as there were lots of informative talks given at the park. (October 2022 - Primary School)

(July 2021 - Primary School)

A great day out. The park is a perfect size for primary age children. Great to be outdoors, though we were lucky with the weather. Lots to see and do. (July 2021 - Primary School)

An excellent experience - the only slight issue for a big group is that there weren't many toilet cubicles so it took a while to get all the children through (June 2021 - Primary School)

A very enjoyable trip, however the organisation from the Paradise Wildlife Park had a knock on effect for our school as they had made errors with payment, meaning time was lost whilst this issue was resolved. The dinosaur park was extremely worthwhile for the boys, acting as a great tool for the boys to recap and share prior knowledge. This created a real buzz for learning. (May 2021 - Primary School)

(March 2020 - Primary School)

Limited shaded area for lunch. (January 2020 - Primary School)

Super, safe and educational (January 2020 - Primary School)

A fantastic location, very little attention paid to the young people and not enough time to see the animals (October 2019 - Primary School)

The Park itself was amazing and the children loved going around after/before hours and getting up close to the animals. However the sleeping arrangements were less than desirable: 70 children and 9 adults in one big marquee did not work well. Children who wanted to get to sleep early couldn't as there was nowhere quiet for them. Also there were no blinds on the windows so as soon as it was light (around 4am), children were waking up and were unable to get back to sleep. The food provided was not great and was basic: a snack box was provided in the evening (crisps, chocolate bar, jelly, apple, drink) and for breakfast there was a cereal bar followed by a cheap sausage or egg bap. There were no drinks provided for adults and we had to provide our own tea/coffee and also our own mugs! 4 toilets for 70 children was also not enough. Adults had to use a disabled toilet to change for bed and had little privacy. (August 2019 - Primary School)

Took a while to get in, but overall was a great experience. Animals were close enough for children to see and there was other attractions on site. (August 2019 - Primary School)

Excellent range and variety of activities (July 2019 - Secondary School)

The new dinosaur park really engaged the children. The children were able to observe a large variety of animals. (March 2019 - Primary School)

A lot of work happening in the animal section of the park. (March 2019 - Primary School)

It was a great day, the park offers a wide selection of attractions. (March 2019 - Primary School)

Lovely range of activities to keep children from 4-11 entertained. (February 2019 - Primary School)

Some of the talk were delivered by elderly volunteers, who did not always pitch their language according to the age of the children they were speaking to (February 2019 - Primary School)

Not many animals to see (December 2018 - Primary School)

Fantastic and enthusiastic approach to the workshop. The children were very engaged and enjoyed the sessions. (November 2018 - Primary School)
