- Get pupils working scientifically and using technical vocabulary in context
- Build pupils’ resilience and character
- Potential for ongoing learning back in the classroom
Leighton Moss is a special place to explore with your pupils, with a range of unique habitats including the largest remaining reedbed in north-west England.
With birds soaring overhead or hiding in the reeds, plus mammals and minibeasts, there is so much to discover and to make this an inspiring learning experience for all.
Activities are designed to be hands-on, fun and relevant. We have a well-equipped classroom in the visitor centre, an outdoor classroom, picnic area, trails, Sky Tower and a magical sensory garden. Come and join us for an exceptional day out!
